UPDATE: The engine and all parts have been sold.
We have a used Beta Marine 14 (13.5 HP) two cylinder marine diesel with transmission and wiring harness available for $2,000 that was removed from our Cape Dory 27. Includes operator manual, flexible coupling and control panel with ignition switch (the tach lens is cloudy and cracked so should be replaced). The previous owner claimed engine runs good but we haven't confirmed that. The engine is a 2006 model with 40A alternator.
Engine number: SM4902. WOC: K16700. Type: BZ 482 EPA.
Optional used complete installation parts available for an extra $900 include prop, shaft and stuffing box, 12 gal. aluminum fuel tank with built-in gauge, throttle/shifter control, fuel filter, exhaust plumbing, and motor mounts. The engine is available for local pick up from James Baldwin at Cruising Yacht Services in Brunswick, GA or delivery nearby can be arranged for a fee.
