I'd like to permanently mount an oil removal pump on my Perkins, similar/identical to the little piston pump that was on my old Beta, but I can't find them on line. There are lots of imposters, like the Jabsco, but the one on the Beta was all metal and had a gasketed screw on cap for the spout that prevented drips when done. It was a really nice little hand pump.
Anyone know where I can find one, short of the Beta dealers?
Much appreciated,
John

Re: Fixed Mount Oil Removal Pump?
I found mine a couple years ago on line..Fynspray bilge style pump. Think I spent $50/60.
Fynspray = all bronze & rated for oil. Not the Classy lever arm pump....
Mine's on a 4-108. My local auto machine shop fabricated a steel reinforced hydraulic hose that goes from the pump to the drain pan. Think it was $30.

Re: Fixed Mount Oil Removal Pump?
I installed a permanently mounted 12 volt oil change pump on my Westerbeke 27 about 7 years ago for approx $90.
This upgrade project can be seen on my web site at: http://www.earlylight160.net76.net/OilChangePump.html

Yeah, that's it! Thanks! Funny how the listing page shows $75, but when you click onto the detail page the price jumps to $96! Actually the Beta dealer offered it for $75, so I took him up on the offer.boatsnh wrote:bargainboatparts.com
