Heya Drew, and welcome. Posting pictures is allowed here for sure. But as to the sanding and grinding part: I have had too much on my own boat, keep yours to your self :) Nice boat!

I can't get enough of watching people go through the sanding and grinding (and eventually rebuilding) process, so speaking only for myself I vote for as many pictures of the process as possible. I look forward to seeing more about your boat.

It is April 10, two whole days after that first post and picture. Sure would like to see more photos of your Alberg!
Port side hull, hull aft, cockpit fore to aft, aft to forward, deck starboard, deck port, cabin, galley, engine, berths, head............. :-) You get the idea.
Think as them as appetizers before the work in progress stills and video. I believe Tim and Mike (?) actually posted a video of spray painting at one time. Perhaps it is time for someone to give us video of another aspect of a different area of boat work/restoration.
I only seem to be able to find old pictures from the PO. Work has progressed since these were taken. I cannot take credit for any of the work shown since it all occurred prior to my ownership. If the UPS man ever shows up with my McMaster Carr order I will go there today and will be able to get newer pictures.
I had the boat shrink wrapped while I was overseas since most of the deck hardware was off. The deck core is good and I want it to stay that way!

Wow, the interior looks to be in pretty good shape. Almost none of the usual butchery you'd see in a boat of this age.
Writing the check for new cushions will hurt, but it won't take much time away from other work. And it doesn't need to happen until the month prior to launch anyway.
Wanted: Alberg 35 with a dry wit and occasional impish streak seeks new owner. A little out of shape, but good bones. Favorites include dinners at anchor, fires on a chilly night, picnics, and of course afternoons sailing. No walks on the beach, please.
PS: Maybe I'm too subtle ;), but that was a "face in the boat" shot.

3. New cockpit coamings
4. Finish engine install, The engine is new but not ideally installed.
5. Step mast
6. Launch boat
7. Finish electrical upgrade, New wire is pulled but the panel is missing.
8. Finish Sail kits, or have a loft do it. I have a good quote.
9. go sailing
Overall the work on the boat by the previous owners was very high quality but in many cases it is not finished.
Here are some pictures from today. The deck sanding is coming along and the hardware is almost all off to make room for it.
(there is a 68 on yacht world but I am almost sure they have the year wrong)
I'll ask on the Alberg 35 group as well.
