Halyard winch on mast-Triton #624

I am going to mount a main halyard winch opposite the jib halyard winch on the mast. Does anyone have suggestions advice or project details and photos on mounting winches on the mast. I assume the mast strength won't be compromised by adding a number of new holes and bolting through to the other winch? Also looking for specs and manufacturer of the original winch so that I can look for another. I am interested in suggestions for finding a new halyard winch if I can't find an old or if anyone have one for sale. Thanks, Gary (Osprey)
