I've made a complete and utter hash of painting the liner in my boat recently. I tried to use a brush and it looks like absolute bloody hell. Since I've found myself in a hole with this project and being a believer in the maxim of when you "find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging..." I've stepped back and decided to finish the job by spraying.
I was wondering if anyone has used cup liners in their gravity-feed HVLP gun. I've researched the 3M PPS system but I can't justify the expense for a small job.
Does anyone know of a cheap way/product for a cup liner? Am I wasting my time with this given that it is a small job and I could just use the existing setup? I say that because I'm thinking that using a cup liner will make easier to spray overhead.
As always, any comments pro and con would be greatly appreciated!
Best.
