This may seem like a dumb question but, I am about to install 2 electric bilge pumps (main and backup) on my Triton. I am not sure where I'll put the thru hulls for the discharge. I've wandered around my marina and looked at a couple of Tritons there and I see NO thru hulls above the waterline on either.
I've had it suggested that I should tie into the cockpit drains but I do not like that option.
What is everyone else doing?
Thru hull on Triton?

I chose the counter myself.
My Triton came with an outlet in the location highly recomended by all the best books on the subject; high up in the middle of the transom. It worked well by was very unattractive in my opinion.
The common recomendation seems to be as high as practical.
I have known of a Triton with a weird back-siphoning issue resulting from a counter mounted bilge pump outlet. Measures were taken to prevent the siphoning but it continued under a few rare instances just the same.
All the same, the counter location is probably the best from an aethestic point of view and the negative aspects can be dealt with adequately.

Under the lazarette/back deck. If you open the little wooden hatch at the back end of the cockpit, the part of the hull thats above the waterline... but not the transom.
