Enamel Paint -marine or not?

Post by preserved_killick »

Is there any practical difference other than cost on a basic high quality enamel paint from a Marine source compared to a company like California Paint or Benjamin Moore?

I'm about to paint the inside of my cabin, and I've read that Interlux Premium Yacht Enamel is good stuff. I've never used it, but is it really any better than any top quality enamel paint??? Any more durable? For inside the cabin, would there be a noticeable difference in performance?

Dangerous to turn a former librarian loose with a search engine...

By the way, I didn't mean to kill the thread, Jeff. It's just that there was so much good information in the prior thread, that I couldn't not mention it.
