Spilled bleach on cabin sole....

Argh. Spilled bleach on the cabin sole. Took all the color out of the wood leaving it straw brown in a small 3x3" area (at least it is in the forepeak).

Any advice?

Stip the whole thing back with the bleach and start over or play with staining the spot?

Maybe a small area rug....kidding.

No idea what it was stained with originally. Not sure if it was original pearson 1960's floor or not, but I think it may be.
