Transducer read out
I am reading the transducer will get interference if it is mounted too close to other electronics. I am wondering where the best place to mount the read out might be. What have you folks done?

Hi Windrose,
I have two depth transducers mounted within a foot of each other. One is from an old Standard Horizon sailboat model and one is the transducer from the new Garmin 3210 system I just installed. If the big 3210 system is operating, the old Standard Horizon system won't work properly. Nothing seems to effect the big 3210 system. Doesn't really matter though as the old Standard Horizon system is never turned on anymore ( it's strictly a backup system now )
That's the story on the transducers. As to where you mount the readout unit, I wouldn't think that it really matters.
