Here are pictures of some drogue chainplates I made during my time off work for the holiday this weekend. Maybe this information will be useful for someone looking to fabricate their own.

I briefly looked at the recommended load values provided @ https://www.jordanseriesdrogue.com/D_5.htm
and believe my chainplates should be sufficient. Hopefully I don’t ever need to find out.

Boat length: 30.5’
Boat displacement: 12000lbs

Material: 316L Stainless Steel from McMaster-Carr
Overall length: 13”
Width: 1.5”
Thickness: 1/4”
Mounting holes: 3/8”
Shackle size: 7/16”

Note: the chainplate on the far left in the one image is a for an inner forestay.

Hopefully I don’t ever need to find out.
