Day 1 - Tear out the rotten plywood in the V-berth, begin work on the new (to me) pedestal and wheel.
Long way to go:
Tiller to Wheel conversion
install airconditioning for those July & August nights on the Chesapeake.
re-wire the entire boat 12V (120V already done)
relocate engine controls.
lots of little stuff on the rig -(new boomvang and Boomkicker)
sound deadening for the diesel.
solar panel
stern shower
varnish all around topsides
oil and varnish down below.
paint mast and boom
new lifelines
She already has new sails, the picture shows her old ones.

Re: 1977 Islander 32 Project
Day 2 and 3 - The vberth is ready for resin and glass, and my luck is holding, I was able to save the headliner, don't want to open that can of worms. Aside from frozen zippers, it's in terrific visual shape.
The free pedestal and wheel is old, I got it apart and the wheel hub is a standard 1" diameter with a key. I will be able to find a slightly larger wheel to fit the boat better.
