OpenCPN charting program

This morning I had an email from a sailing friend with a link to a freeware charting program call OpenCPN
It supports AIS and also shows tides and currents overlayed on the charts.
I found it very easy to use and plan to give it a real-world test flight on my next outing.
(My present charting program is Memory Map Navigator)
