Safe seperation distance between propane vent and exhaust
When the vent line for the bottom of the propane locker exists the hull near the exhaust outlet, is there a safety concern? Are there any safety standards or recommended best practices for seperation distances?

If the water and exhaust is hot enough to ignite anything, and the escaping propane dense enough to be flammable, you have a couple more serious problems than proximity!
I wonder what ABYC is thinking of, or what freak accident they're reducing the chance of recurrance of?
Where'd you put your bottle and how did you make the container? While we're not yet tempted to change out or update our original LeComte-made monel pressurised alcohol stove, it may happen one day.

Propane was already in the boat when I bought it.Where'd you put your bottle and how did you make the container?
The propane is stored in the lazarette locker. There is a box with an open top under the lazarette hatch, sealed on the top against the underside of the fiberglass deck. At the bottom of the box a hose runs down to a thruhull on the centerline of the boat. Where the thrunull exits the hull is in the counter under the stern and above the waterline.
The engine exhaust exits the hull aft and outboard on the port side of where the propane vent is located. It is also in the counter and higher above the water than the propane vent.
I cna post a photo if you like.
