Back in the water...

Post by Tim Mertinooke »

After taking the last sailing season off in order to finish my master's degree, Excalibur is afloat again. No pictures yet, but I took this video on Sunday sailing off of NH. On this particular tack we did not touch the helm for almost an hour.

Nice! I liked the sound of the water slipping past the hull.

Congrats on the Master's Degree and on being back in the water!

Thanks. Mike, I'll be sure to e-mail you and let you know when we'll be up there in Casco Bay. I am very impressed with how balanced the boat is. We have had many passages with little to no adjustment to the helm. That particular tack was just magical.
