I need to wrap my shackles with some Monel...I forget what the term is called...am i correct that it is Monel and where can it be bought?

It is Monel. It can be tough to find, but (gasp!) West Marine has it.

Call ahead, two WM stores that I checked were out of stock. I gotta find some myself.

Yeah, I really don't know why I bother driving to boat stores any more. I keep thinking, "I could save a day if I could just get this part I need now and put it in today..." Without fail I waste half the day on a fruitless search and wind up ordering what I really wanted online anyway.
