Freeimagehosting.net

Post by Tim »

I had been using freeimagehosting.net quite frequently to post my photos, since it was more convenient than first posting them to one of my websites and then here.

However, I noticed that many of these photos were becoming unavailable after a short time, which is highly irritating. I wanted to warn any users of this service to be wary of this problem, and to consider other options.

Most of the free image hosting servers seem to have this problem, annoyingly.

I've never had any trouble with them, not the fastest, and don't know if you can link to them, but I put some photos on and they've stayed available since.

Alternative to freeimagehost??

Post by grampianman »

While I found freeimagehosting to be a simple and easy-to-use site, it is annoying to have the photos 'go away' after a time. Are there alternatives? What might be the recommended option?

Cheers,
Ian

Hm, I thought it was just me, but I guess not...

I have been switching to photobucket.com since I started having problems with viewing my freeimagehosting.net files.
