Rave review... Freud Diablo 24 tooth framing blades...

Post by Zach »

I picked up one of these at the lumber yard for my skill saw (A dewalt... which is also spectacular, it runs the same speed no matter what load you put on it.) and have got to say I'm sold.
They follow a straight line quite easily, but if set shallow you can cut a tighter radius than I've ever seen a skill saw blade cut without turning purple!
I've been using it every day the last couple weeks, and it still cuts fast enough that using a speed square on a 2x4 it cuts all the way through before the other half of the board falls to the floor... perfectly smooth.

Bought a delta contractor saw the other day that lacked cajones with a 36 tooth carbide blade... I was wandering through home depot and saw the 10 inch red diablo blade hanging there. Simply put, there aren't any machining marks with this 24 tooth blade. I'm impressed.

So... try one and see if you like it.

Forrest :-)

Buy one of these and you will use your Freud's for fiberglass hack work.

Work is overrated.

Most everything you read on the Internet is wrong.

<Wails>

Welp, now that my wailing about new tool discoveries is over... Guess part of the next paycheck goes to a forrest!
It's for the tree's man... the trees.
