I've used diamond blades/wheels in grinders and saws for doing stone work, even cut thru a bronze shaft with one. Seem durable, however expensive they may be.
I wondered if anyone had tried using one for fiberglass and especially over periods of time. They're spendy, but the regular cutoff discs really add up, too.
Dave,
I've used some diamond blades on my dremel for glass, they were quite effective, but didn't last any longer than the other blades. Keep in mind, this is for my dremel, not for a large tool, so I suspect the blade thickness as much as the material contributed to its lifespan.
