Spray Equipment (HVLP)

This question is for any of you who have used paint spray equipment in the past, either for marine-specific paints or for ordinary paints.

Specifically, I'm looking for recommendations for good HVLP systems for a variety of paint types. There are a wide variety of these systems available, from cheap ones to hyper expensive. I'm interested in some first-hand or general experience, if anyone can help.

What should I look for? Are the more expensive units better, or do you not always get what you pay for? And any other comments or suggestions are most appreciated.

Oh, and I should add: if you own or have used a specific model that you liked (or hated), and would recommend (or not), pass that info along.
