Nice, 'non-plastic' classic! Thirteen years in teh building... Man, that took some vision and even more "sticktoittiveness". The result is amazing.

No "bad", none at all! I love wooden boats, especially classic ones. I might even have one, but just don't personally have the temperament needed to live, love, and maintain them like they need. ;) I'll have to get a pic of "Fugacity" to post on here - an old abandoned woody up on the hard next to our local yard. Built in the 20's, I think, in Europe, she came over on her own bottom and maybe crossed more than once. Has a tin dink (yes, tin - I think). Engine is a honkin' big diesel that sits below the companionway ladder, no enclosure at all, she's open stem to stern below, maybe 35'ish. The cabin trunk sides are beams of 4" thick teak, it's amazing. She's sadly neglected and wasting away, however.

Addendum: I follow this guys YouTube channel, he is rebuilding a big ol' wooden classic, good stuff! WAY too much work for my ADHD. :D
