So what's up with the broken scanner? I'm dying to see this site plan.

Boy, you guys are tough!

I need to buckle down and figure out what the deal is with the scanner. It's part of a brand-new multifunction machine that I bought for my office (fax, scanner, copier, color printer, etc). It's one of those ridiculous software quirks--the other parts of the machine work just fine. I have to call tech support, which I always hate, and haven't had the time to do yet.

Bear with me. I'll try and get something up, at least temporary, soon. Maybe I'll use my spy camera to take a photo of the page and post that...

OK--you'll find the site plan showing the various locations of the barn, etc. online now. It's just a photo of the page that I drew the plan on, but it gets the information across.

The Triton Daysailor

Once there, click on "Boat Barn" in the menu.

oh, jealousy is setting in quite firmly.

That looks like a great setup. I can see why you wanted it in the originally proposed location, but I don't think you're giving up much with this fallback. Look on the brightside.... that extra little bit of distance will help keep the boat barn from collecting things that should otherwise be in the garage or the garden sheds!

My boat barn will be sacred! Boat and shop stuff only. Eventually, perhaps I'll add on that little lean-to as shown on the plan for more storage space. But the whole garage is going to be much more available for storage once the shop moves. We only keep one car in there anyway.

Now that I've gotten over the mental anguish of the barn, I'm excited!
