Hi All,
"Delphinus" is being hauled late this upcoming week so I can do some prop shaft work and through hull work. Part of the job includes a new dual frequency depth sounder transducer that feeds the new chartplotter.
My plan is to leave the current depth sounder system in place when I install the new chartplotter. That gives me a completely separate depth system and I don't have to fill in any holes. I was wondering if there is any reason the two transducers couldn't be located near each other? Anybody ever have any interferance problems with such a system? I don't believe they operate on the same frequencies.
