Tah-dah!
I've finally made it to the outside of the boat. Of course, that doesn't mean we're done inside by any stretch. My question is when I start fairing some of the low spots on the hull do I need to prep the area by removing the gel coat or just make sure I have removed any wax and have given the gel coat some 'tooth'. This seems like an overly simple question but I don't recall reading anything that directly adresses this question. I'd really hate to spend all that time with a fairing board only to have the epoxy pop out in a year.
