I'm restoring a Glen-L Minuet 15-FT sailboat. I'm ready to install bungs in the rub rail, toe rail and coaming cap rail, all made of sapele. I won't be varnishing the surface, rather, I'll be applying teak oil instead. I had planned to use epoxy to install the bungs, but then I saw a boat refit video yesterday where wood glue was used on the coaming to fill some holes with bungs. I assume it was probably Titebond.
Which would be better in my particular application?
Which glue for installing bungs (plugs) above water line?

Re: Which glue for installing bungs (plugs) above water line?
I've used epoxy in the past but Titebond III Ultimate is waterproof and easier to use so I've used that in recent years and don't expect any problems.
