That's brilliant. Thanks for sharing pictures of the fix. I was looking at that break and figured you were pretty stuck, but that solution is really well done.

Helm balance - Pearson Wanderer

I'm finally getting a chance to sail my boat more this year and I'm having trouble balancing the sail rig. I don't know when I should be using the main, as the boat wants to head up in the wind so badly that putting more sail up further aft just makes it worse. I'm sure it is just an education thing...

My dad has one of these and managed to find a tiny carbide tipped blade that was the right size of the saw. The arbor hole was a bit to small, a few thou or so, so some slow dremelling and it was enlarged to fit. Don't remember the brand, Vermont? It was in a red package. Now this thing seriously er...
