Anything you put in the boat you should search the MSDS on it to get some idea as to how it may behave in a fire or while installing it. sounds like a good firefighter :) Nah..just a paranoid insurance agent... I mounted all of my BP and switch to a piece of poly (cutting board) with a retrieval line.

I was going to do the stick thing and never got around to it since the set up works great.

I have an Alberg 35 as well.

I don't know if there is core in that area. I would guess not....but am clueless so take that for what it is worth!!!

It does look like mine may have been repaired at some point in time though based on non skid appearance.

The tool is the CHEAP part.....it is the stinking blades that are rediculous.

I think that it would work. If the scraper blade wouldn't the saw blade WILL make short work of it.

Don't knockvbthe Cetol until you have tried the new natural teak flavor. None of that orangey-ness. I'll let you know how it holds up. Here is some on Andiamo. Dyer makes all the parts for their dinghies still.

They have bent would rails and copper rivets too.


Maybe you could look to them for some help and buy some parts there. They were very responsive to my questions about my Dyer 12.5 I bought.

That would be one hell of a garboard plug as this is a LARGE thru hull...maybe 2.5 in diameter. It has a large hose attached to it and would sink the boat FAST if it came loose!!!
