Hi Matt , I'm probably not the best guy to talk to about AC DC as I have a very limited knowledge . However you can't go wrong with Don Casey and Nigel Calder . Here are some good books . Good luck and keep us posted . I should buy a few of these myself , haha . https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C2...

Little sister to the BCC 28 . This one had a interesting story . It was sitting in a barn , a barn find . My hull cleaner and I were talking one day , he was telling me about this boat and said it was over at Eddie's and that it had just been splashed . He told me about the barn and that the boat wa...

Your boat , plus the mod you want . https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/wanderer-30-pearson Well that would be a lot of work , I say go for it . For removing the hull liner and tabbing in a low bulkhead I would be careful . On our boat some of the galley walls are held in place with a bracket and not ...

I think they would look good on most plastic classics . Back in the late 90's I tried to make a business out of it , I sold some at a loss and then it ended when someone else that was making them had a failure and a customer lost a very expensive rig . So anyhow I folded my machine shop 10 yrs. ago ...

Located Willmington California , it's a DIY yard started in the 50s' by Eddie , whom passed in the 80's and then it was run by surviving family who live on the property . My first introduction was around late 90's and I have been back about every 4-6 years . Here in Ca. especially LA. county it has ...

And it's for sale . These boats are IMO very salty , I have never sailed one . A guy I used to know a long time ago had the 20' version of this boat . I don't know why this is selling for so cheap back in the day I would have been all over this . https://orangecounty.craigslist.org/boa/d/pacific-sea...

I really like this picture my friend Magic Don took it . The day was very nice although a little above my comfort zone , I know I'm a wussy , my boat likes to be reefed around 14-15 kts . Yes I know that doesn't sound like much wind but for this cutter rigged boat with a super long boom you need to ...

I did some more looking around today . Cool you could find them on Google map Capn' . And yes the clean one , Revelation is on the end on the dock on the 40' side and the black one (Windjammer) is on the 35' side and they are almost bow to bow . Windjammer's home port is Pinon Hills . I have a nice ...

Anybody use this stuff ? I use Cetol Light , After the prep all that is needed is 3 coats and you don't have to sand in between coats . I find that a very light sanding before the third coat really helps . Exposed to the sun it doesn't last to much longer than varnish , I get about a year about 3 if...

Well you certainly found it CapnK , interesting the Burtrum family . The first time I saw Revalation was over at the island (Catalina) it was probably the mid 90's , the boat looked pretty much the same as it does now . Of course that boom is a new addition . The gentlemann that owned the boat then ...

Re: What to do w/200' of 8mm anchor chain...
Gee I don't know , you know your boat . If you could carry that kind of weight , why not . But on our boat 200' of 8mm would be a problem . We don't do any extreme anchoring , 30' of 8mm chain and about 300' of rode with a 10 kg Bruce in the bow and 30' 8mm chain and about 200' rode and a 5kg Danfor...

This is a subject of much debate , so I'm not by any means going say anything other than this is what works for me .
