Filling/repairing holes in hull below the water line

I have recently removed a transducer and a through-hull fitting which were located in the forward section of hull just as the keel starts it's down angle. I do not intend to re-use these holes for tranducers or the like and intend on filling them. I planned on using west system mixed with micro fibe...

I know for a fact that the strong track is less expensive than the Harken system. It is also lighter and less difficult to install than many (read that most) track systems. It is also one of the best systems in regard to bending and unbending the sail from the spars. There are no jointed or moving p...

[quote "The Awlgrip was so hard as to resist easy sanding"] Wow, and I thought I was all alone. I started the paint reamoval on 466 just two days ago and it has been very difficult. I am pretty sure that Awlgrip is the culprit for this trouble as well. I am using my Portacable DA with 80 g...

Figment - you may consult an etiquette book on this matter as it maybe inappropiate for you to attend such an event on account of your gender or possibly your relationship to the bride to be. HULL FLEXING

I found this thread on Larry Suiters Guest Book on the San Fransico Triton Web site. I do not know the issue of hull flexing in a Triton has ever been an issue for any other Triton owners but I thought it would be a reasonable issue to discuss. Here is the copied thread. New Sail Cloth of Interest

There are currently two new laminate cloth types available on market which would be a perfect match for Tritons and her kin. Contender Sail Cloth has a cloth by the name of MAXX cloth and Dimension - Polyant is now manufacturing a cloth by the name of Flex Cloth. The beauty of both of these material...

lavic head

[quote="Tim"]The idea of the vented loop in any line like this is to stop a siphon action, should the device (such as the head) be at or below the waterline. If you simply close your seacocks (conveniently located right in the head itself, in our case) each time, you'll never need to worry...
