It is a very good fit. 346 came with a set of Shields sails and I used them for a season or two in the early days - "pre-sail snob". The jib wasn't too bad either. And for the record guys, I too go nameless on the transome. I typically respond to dirty looks and obscene hand jestures.

Greg I am pretty sure the ship with yours sails finally arrived - good sailing, incidently you might ask Scott for a price on a furler - sailmakers sell furlers too (big surprise) or at least we do - if Scott doesn't want to play for some reason give me a call.

hello gang! I was racing Etchells 22's this past weekend out of Duck Island Yacht Club in Westbrook, CT and recognized a very nice Triton w/ a Flag Blue hull anchored just off the breakwater. The boat had 'cream' dacron sails. Is that anyone that is on the forum. Anywho - nice job with the boat!

I have had good results using Min-Wax Polyurethane (spelling?). I mix the satin with high gloss and get a 'tweener of gloss and satin but not quite semigloss. I learned this trick from Dad as he refinished the house floors like this and they came out very well.

WINCH STANDS AND ENGINE BRACKET

I recently purchased two cast bronze winch stands and the SPARTEN MARINE outboard bracket - also in cast bronze. The service was great and they shipped my purchases within a day or so. I purchased the outboard bracket to see if it will work on the TRITON. I will keep the Forum up to date on this.
