Re: Cape Cod Marlin

Sorry to resurrect an old post again (internet etiquette and all), but it occurred to me that many may be interested in some new info on the Marlin Class. As was stated before, there are 4 original Marlin. For years we had documented three, with the one at the Herreshoff Museum as an unknown hull nu...

Re: EasyPoxy Washing

Best I've found with my EasyPoxy deck is any of the powdered Oxalic Acid cleaners. You sometimes have to read the lables to recognise it - and sometimes it is sold as a teak cleaner, but it works very well. Note, I've had much better luck with the powdered type vs the liquid type....

Save yourself the hassle.....Take an old clorox bottle (or similar slic/smooth plastic material) Cut a strip big enough to glue to the bottom of the keel and extends just past where the rudder starts (overlap). Works!

Re: Seen on the hard in Marina Del Rey, CA

There were to my knowledge only two Fiberglass production Roz's - One by Kenner, and one by CL. My first reaction was that this is a CL with all the wood and such, but I'm inclined to think that this one is a one off - or maybe a later CL I'm not familiar with. I have heard (unsubstantiated) that LF...

Usually you can buy them at greatly reduced prices via Craigs list. Also most boat haulers, marina's, boat yards, etc., will rent them for short money.
