Re: Sailing from NJ to MD

Thanks great info.

I found crew today so things are looking up. The decision now is to get this done ASAP or wait until spring. Maybe I'm getting old and cautious, but I'm leaning towards a spring trip.

Sailing from NJ to MD

I found a good boat in NJ and am thinking about sailing it back to the Chesapeake. I'm searching and reading what I can and appreciate any advice. Any experience coming around Cape May and through the channel? I've never been offshore and cant think of a better time to give it a go! Thanks for any t...

Re: Mast to deck wiring chase

Excellent thread, this is on my short list.

Is it recommend to pass the antenna wire in the same bundle? It seems the connector might be too large to pass though the deck fitting. Or, should you run the wire from the radio directly to the antenna with a removable connector?

Over the weekend I got the last section on the starboard side installed. This is the largest piece and was a little tough to install. Fitting the port core material. I made the mistake of using an unfamiliar epoxy to fill under the edges on this side, and mixed it wrong,
