Triton Hull number?
I have acquired another Triton. The title show it to be Hull number 332 built in 1962. And the Pearson Dataplate is corroded enough that its difficult to make out the hull number. I can make out a 32 on the last 2 digits but the first one is unreadable. By looking at the Triton.org website, I see 33...

Counter?
I'm not sure I know what you mean by counter. You mean the thru hull for the galley sink?

Thru hull on Triton?
This may seem like a dumb question but, I am about to install 2 electric bilge pumps (main and backup) on my Triton. I am not sure where I'll put the thru hulls for the discharge. I've wandered around my marina and looked at a couple of Tritons there and I see NO thru hulls above the waterline on ei...

Clarification.
Hi all, I guess I wasn't very clear on what I was asking, sorry about that. What I wanted to know was, if, the name has faded on the stern (there is not even a minor trace of the name on the stern). and I see no reference to any name on this vessel on any paperwork except for a 30 year old newslette...

Replacing a hatch?
I have seen many hatch replacements on Tritons. Can anyone tell me why? The original seems like a decent design and doesn't leak much. Many of the hatches I have seen as replacements look very similar to the forward hatch I had on a Searay Sundancer (Back when I like to buy lots of fuel for going sh...

Naming a boat?
I know some don't like to rename a boat but, whats the procedure for reinstating a former name? I am starting on Triton 451 and there is no name on the stern or any of my paperwork. However, when I was going through some of the old papers in the lockers, I found a neat folder with several issues of ...

Scrap?
Ok, I admit it, it was me. I got the ports yesterday and they were in pretty good condition. The one I worked on a bit cleaned up nicely. The thing is, I have a WC Triton with non-opening ports. I hoped these would be a direct replacement but, they are much smaller. Not sure what I'll do about that ...

Triton cost
I got 451 for $800. It had been donated to a charity in Richmond. Oddly enough, I spoke with the PO prior to him donating it and he was adamant that he wouldn't part with her for less than 2K. Of course, it need lots of attention. It needs refinishing in and out, the A4 "runs but it needs a sta...
