Mine was glossy when I bought it....several years later it is not glossy.

So either way it will end up flat with enough time and UV exposure.

Leave it. It won't be an issue and it will be way easier to keep clean.

I got the local sail maker repairing the main for $60.00.

The center board is bolted into the trunk and has a pennant to rais and lower it. The thwart should have a pair of cleats on it to hold it up or down.

Very nice! Cool little motor.

For any old copper gaskets or washers a neat trick is to anneal them by heating with a torch and allowing them to cool. The copper hardens and by heating and slow cooling it softens it.

Handy when you don't have a new washer and the old one is not sealing.

Anyone know of any source for pearson/ allied grumman in 1962?

My boat is 50 this year...but I'd love to know her hull number. No hull plate, no numbers under the drawers or hidden spots. Coast guard documented so that is the "number" we use.

put an ohm meter across the plug terminals. Infinite? then wire broken or bulb blown..then ohm from one terminal of plug to terminal in lamp, then the other leg and keep working it down until you find the break. I sold my SPEC E30 car and bought andiamo....much more family friendly!!!

SRF look like a blast...glad we never had to run with them I'd NEVER see them from a sedan!!!

I do miss it and I miss VIR the most. Although Summit point was my first track so it always will be special.

I keep the stiff foam rubber floor tiles around for the same purpose. Some in the garage soem on the boat. Just for laying on the ground or climbing around on hard pointy stuff.
