Very nice!

I really need to do this. My lines are of unknown vintage.

Can you get in color other than lightblue?

Who did you use for supplies?

Thanks!

Re: To flatten or not to flatten

Mine was glossy when I bought it....several years later it is not glossy.

So either way it will end up flat with enough time and UV exposure.

Leave it. It won't be an issue and it will be way easier to keep clean.

by the way I love the way your boat looks. All your hard work has been worth it!!!

strip, you can use oven cleaner or lye to take off the anodizing Sand to the level of finish you want and then re-anodize. The center board is bolted into the trunk and has a pennant to rais and lower it. The thwart should have a pair of cleats on it to hold it up or down.

Very nice! Cool little motor.

For any old copper gaskets or washers a neat trick is to anneal them by heating with a torch and allowing them to cool. The copper hardens and by heating and slow cooling it softens it.

Handy when you don't have a new washer and the old one is not sealing.

Very good point about the anti syphon loop. Many heads also go under the waterline at certain angles of heel.
