Hello Forum!
Noobie here, I wanted to thank AtomVoyager for all of his help and directing us here! Essentially, on a whim, we recently purchased this sailboat (see attached) with the mindset of doing a full restoration. Full disclosure, we have very little knowledge of boat restoration or sailing. I'm sure we'll be scouring these forums for helpful information and guidance as we navigate this project.
First off, we need to figure out what the heck it is! We thought we had an Alberg 30, but Atom quickly ruled that out for us. Does anyone out there have an idea?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Help Identifying Make and Model
Maybe someone here can identify it for you. Meanwhile, do you have the title or registration and what does it say for length and make?
It has a similar offset prop shaft as the C.W. Lapworth design Cal 30 built by Jensen Marine in the 1960's, not the later Cal 2-30. Check the offset rudder photo in this link:

Yours is not exactly the same shape though. And yours has split backstays with two chain plates.
What is the length of the mast?
The boat looks about 28' but hard to tell. Measure the length on deck and the draft from waterline to bottom of keel and let us know.
