I'm replacing the exhaust system on the A4 in Triton #150 (it had a jacketed exhaust that must've been 30+ years old which finally corroded through)...It looks like Tim installed the Waterlift in the bilge towards the forward end of the engine while my A4 exhaust faces the stern.
Does the Yanmar exhaust exit the side? Otherwise I'm thinking I'd need to loop hose from the back of the engine to the front, and then back again to the exit on the transom.
How would I mount the waterlift astern from the engine? Obviously I can't put it in the bilge there because of the drive shaft. Has anyone mounted one on the bulkhead next to the engine (near the manifold on the port side?)
