Restoring a Sea Sprite 23

Post by The Froon »

Okay, I have created an on-line journal for the restoration of an SS23, Hull #217.

You can see that I am a "Bottom Sanding Grunt", having the sore arms and shoulders to prove it!, but I will be hanging around the Forum for support and insight.

Stop by, and let me know what you think.

Looks good to me. I actually have to make some for my boat. Since I am going with the 'what I have laying around' build approach they will be made out of oak plywood.

I just do not have a lot of wood working tools at this point, so I will break down and buy what I need when I need it....Looks like you have a lot going on right now with the deck removed!
