Model Construction Underway!!

Hey all!

It seemed like this was the best section to put this in, after all it is a wooden power boat! My friend and fellow student naval architecht Dave have started a building project for a model remote controlled boat. We are not building it to any current design, just our own as its more of a play with the technology and techniques type of excercise.

We are keeping a picture and word type log of things as we go and are hoping to have a play with amongst other things, Design software and our naval architechture knowledge, vacuum bagging, strip planking, carbon fibre and epoxy and so on. Also, Daves home spun CNC milling machine is being pressed into making the intracate parts for the sterndrive and engine.

We will be updating it very regularly now that we are underway with the build. Just thought you might find it interesting!
