70 Deg in November?

Post by cmartin »

Two weekends in a row it hit 70 on the Chesapeake. No complaints here. With any luck we'll have another weekend or two like this before it gets cold.

The leaves are still hanging on and while it's not Maine, it's still spectacular.

Not sure the photo captured it, but with the sun going down the bay looks surreal.

This never gets old, at least to me...

It's been surreal for the past week, driving through the heavily tree'd neighborhood has been like driving through tunnels of brilliant color.
Canopies of color overhead, carpets of color on the ground.
It was like the boat/tunnel scene in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, if that scene had been rendered by Bob Ross.

Then yesterday.
Yesterday was the day of reckoning.
um, I mean raking. Yes, the day of raking, that's what I meant to write.

I find it easier to let the wind blow the leaves onto my neighbors freshly raked yard...

This week has been a nice reprieve. Its about time to switch to inhouse projects though.
