Where is George and his Alberg 30????????

Post by Ric in Richmond »

Ok...serious question.

Georges boat was at my marina a couple of weeks ago.

Here is his last post:

I didn't get to see him off so I am not sure when he left.

He was going to Charleston SC. Been way longer than he needs to get to Charleston....unless he was going by way of Bermuda.

I have PM'd him with no response.

Anyone heard from him?

Ok...58 of us have looked at this and no response.

Anyone know anything else about george?

Maybe he is just sanding teak in Deltaville and ouf range of the net....

I don't know, but based on his forum history--occasional posts with typically long, long periods of time between them--I wouldn't say that the lack of word here, either on the forum or on the PMs, is cause for concern on its own.

I know, and knew, nothing of his travel plans, or his plans in general, but if you don't have any other way to get in touch with him, I wouldn't call out the big guns just based on absence from this forum.

I agree...not going to call the Coast Guard!!

Bet it is a grand adventure where ever he is.

So much for the grand adventure.

I was hauling a buddy up his mast to install his new Harken Roller Furler (MMMM SMOOTH!) and while he was up there..he said..."Hey there is George's Alberg!"

It was up the creek around the corner and invisible from the marina.

SO George...when you going to sail her to SC???
