My trips aboard GREYHAWK seem to be a magnet for hard going. Earlier this week I sailed with two crew from Boothbay Harbor, Maine, to Marblehead, Massachusetts, directly into a strong southwesterly (approx. 25 knots with closely spaces seas of 5 feet). One of the crew, despite a previous passage from Bermuda to Long Island, called these the roughest conditions he had every experienced. Here are two pics, one from Monday afternoon, the second from Tuesday morning:
