in water winterizing

Post by Triton 670 »

I will be leaving my Triton in the water this winter in the Northern Chesapeake. I have a few questions about winterizing:

1-Will the cockpit drain hoses be OK since they remain full while the boat is floating?

2-I installed a lavac head over the summer but didn't complete the holding tank install. It currently is just the water intake and head discharge with the original seacock positioning. How should I handle winterizing those two hoses?

The original inboard was removed and I use just a small outboard which I will bring home and keep indoors.

Thanks for any thoughts on these, I'm pretty paranoid about going back down to the marina and seeing only the mast sticking out of the water where my boat used to be!
