Whoooeeee! It's blowin' to beat the band.

Supposedly a mere nor'easter, we've been experiencing a dandy windy, gusty, and rainy storm now for about 16 hours and several more hours are expected. Gusting to over 35, 3' whitecaps on the Delaware, flooding the Wissihickon, poor visibility for driving. Soaked the carpet in the Volvo's footwell, which that car has never had before. Muddy soil from melting snow has left trees at risk; we've been lucky, so far.

I drove the four hours round trip down to Rock Hall to check on Q and to drop the sails for repair. All was well but oh, so wet!

I'm dreading this storm. Its been blowing all day long and this storm is supposed to hit Maine tomorrow on Sunday. Thanks for commenting...

I probably will lose power tonight or tomorrow. Ugh.

Blowing hard here too. It's raining so hard that it sounds like someone is throwing rocks against my window.

Boat cover is holding up OK. Definitely going to have to check the jackstands again, though. Always makes me nervous with the boat on the lawn when it's so wet.

My shrink wrap is above the toe rail because of the Awlgrip. Then, last weekend I removed all the deck hardware aft of the cabin including the lazarette (sic?) hatch. Today, the bilges were full to the floorboards. That is a lot of water. Bailed about half of it and I am ready to go back to get the bottom half.
Cheers

Sounds like you need to install a garboard drain...
