Too cold and wet

All this talk about boatsheds... It's too cold and wet to work on the FDs in our barn; in fact it's too cold and wet to contemplate sticking ones head out! Two nor'easters have arrived back to back over the last several days but which are guaranteed to be past in time for the Phillys game tonight. Lost a planned weekend aboard Q.

And the barn roof has begun to leak. (New roof is under contract) (It's not really a barn; it's a two horse stable with room for the carriage, dating back to the 1850s. The rings are still in the stalls, though the stall fronts are gone. A nail on the wall is labeled 'Packard'.)

Ditto on the cold and wet - here in RI. And the brief snow flurries onThursday were a particularly nasty shock to the system - they were a definite notice that it was time to put away the shorts and dig out the jeans.....

That's a scream!

I'd hate to lean to one side on that thing! Surely all that sheet metal cannot be good for the metacenter.

Stood in the barn the last two nights, in 70 degree weather, looking at the tarped boat: booo!
