Chainplates - Source?

Post by Trecksail »

Anyone have a good source for stainless 316 chainplates? Schaeffer has some but limited sizing.

Thanks,
Joe

I buy 316L stainless flat bar stock from onlinemetals.com and make my own. Then you can have any size that you want.

I'll second that recommendation.

Make sure its the 316"L".
They will cut to the size you need. All you have to do is round over the edges, drill your holes, and polish polish polish. Any machine shop can do this for you cheaply.
