Decode my prop...

Talk about favorite or hated suppliers, recommend good materials or sources, or anything of the same ilk. This is also a good place to suggest unique ideas and innovations you may have come up with.

Post by Ric in Richmond »

I know it is a 14" Right hand 9" pitch prop. What do the other numbers and letters mean?

it says on the hub

2 96
MI/FED
MP/TP
14RH9

and on the face of the hub it says

59632
1003

That is a Michigan Wheel Corp (They merged with Federal, thus the MI / FED id), Machine Pitch (MP) 3 Blade (3B?) propeller probably manufactured in February 1996.
