Ok, For the few people that are still here, my 18 year old 8 gallon Craftsman shop vac is beginning to make a little extra noise. This means that I do not need to replace it today but..... the time is coming. Possible candidate for the post Christmas - Pre-January inventory, inventory reduction sales.
Anyone have a strong feeling that they have the perfect (or world's worst) 6-10gallon ship vac?
Cheers
Dennis

Re: May need a new Shop Vac
It is probably fixable but it is, after all 18 years old and I have not babied it. So if it is the bearings, next will be the brushes etc... It owes me nothing.

Problem is,the one you buy to replace it with certainly won't give you that kind of return on investment... they are cheaply made to break...
