Classic Research Help

Post by Adam »

I realize this is a “Plastic Classic” site, but seemingly enough folks here have an appreciation of yachting history, classic designs and construction that I thought I would present out some information and ask for help.

A number of us are helping Steve Nagy document the whereabouts and provenance of all Herreshoff Manufacturing Company built sailboats (1893 – 1943). Steve has done an amazing and hugely time consuming job (labor of love IMO) of building and maintaining an informational site, forum, and an on-line registry (PDF format) to this end. If anyone here has any information towards an original Herreshoff, leads, wants to participate, - or is just curious - please e-mail, or stop by the site - http://www.herreshoffregistry.org/ .

Thanks in advance!

I love this site. Had to tear myself away after looking through it for 2 hours the other day. What a terrific job you guys are doing.
