Hey Clint. Lots of stuff out there on the net. I often start with http://www.pearsoninfo.net/ when I am looking into details of other Pearson yachts. A simple Google search yielded http://www.vermontrealestatetoday.com/commander/. This one may be more expensive/less project than you are looking for though.

Good luck with your search, can never be too many projects documented here.

Great boats. Great people that own them.

TX for links.

This is a great little boat.

Tim or other Mainers here do you know of one nearby Portland that I can take the admiral and see an example?

IIRC, there is one in SO. Freeport?

Clint, contact NE Sailboat Rescue. I think they have a Commander for sale. They also have an Ariel. < http://www.northeastsailboatrescue.com/sale.html >

There is a Commander for sale on the side of the road S. Freeport at S. Freeport Rd and Pine St on the way to Brewer's (?) Marina - can't miss it.

Also check out the PearsonAriel.org discussion forum. There have been a couple listed there in our area over the last year or so. Not project boats though - well, ALL old boats are project boats, but just not project priced.

Also, PM me if you're interested in going for a sail on an Ariel...

A quick search on the Ariel/Commander forum brings up these leads:
