I checked out this boat a few years ago with a prospective buyer.
"Three sails not new but usable"
Actually, the sails were probably original. Yellowed rags. The sails had been attacked by mice with numerous patches.
"Deck is solid except for one small spot the size of a fist"
Actually, there was noticeable core rot on the foredeck and both sidedecks.
The antique engine did start, but it took liberal doses of starter fluid before it kicked over and started belching smoke.
Etc., etc., etc. You get the picture. Needs a total restoration.
